Target Audience: Ortho Trauma, Hand Surgeons, Hand Therapists & Physical Therapists

Webinar Overview: 
Forearm fractures are common fractures of the upper extremity routinely requiring surgical management. Competent management of these fractures require accurate radiographic evaluation, safe surgical exposure, and appropriate fixation strategies. To better evaluate, isolate and analyze diagnosis, exposure, and fixation, a detailed case-based review of forearm both bones fractures, Galeazzi fractures, and Essex-Lopresti injuries will be presented with emphasis on complications and controversies.
Learning objectives
Critically Evaluate Radiographs to Properly Diagnose Forearm Fractures and Apply Appropriate Surgical Exposure Options Based on Fracture Location.
Analyze “both bones” Fractures and Determine Surgical Fixation Options and Common Complications and Controversies.
Identify and Evaluate Galeazzi Fractures and Distinguish Surgical Fixation Options Along with Common Complications and Controversies.
Determine the Differences Between Isolated Radial Shaft Fractures and True Galeazzi Lesions.
Analyze Radiographs to Identify Essex-Lopresti Injuries.
Evaluate the Need for Advanced Imaging with CT Scans.
