To help medical students understand basic principles of fracture management.
Building on the undergraduate curriculum, this interactive day uses case discussions and fracture fixation practicals to establish the basics of fracture management for medical students who are considering a trauma and orthopedic career.
'All of the faculty were extremely encouraging and helpful throughout the day. Their efforts, and the efforts of supporting staff, are to be commended on what was an excellent training day.'
'Having so many faculty members alongside the lead teachers was really useful for our learning in the practical sessions; we were able to ask questions and gain further experience.'
'Really fantastic course that went into more depth about fracture management and orthopedics in general that other courses have not.'
This course is aimed at medical students, but foundation year 1 doctors would also be welcome.
