Description

Can you manage any distal radius fracture unsupervised?

How would you deal with a perilunate dislocation at the weekend?

How can you minimise the risks of missing a scaphoid fracture?
 
This 2 day cadaveric course will help you to manage common distal radius and carpal fractures and dislocations.
We integrate ISCP requirements using precourse study, small group learning and cadaveric labs

Participant Criteria
The course is aimed at ST3 and above, although core trainees may benefit and consultants can update & revalidate their knowledge

Learning objectives
Manage a simple distal radius fracture unsupervised
Recognise indications and select appropriate fixation options
Deal with a perilunate dislocation out of hours
Minimise the risks of missing a scaphoid fracture
