All faculty are AOTrauma faculty with a current practice in lower limb arthroplasty and reconstruction.

Programme to include:

• Fixation vs implant revision
• The failed proximal femoral fracture fixation

Learning objectives
Outline the biomechanical environment around a prosthesis and how this impacts on fracture fixation
Recognize which periprosthetic fractures can be fixed and which require revision
Debate the areas of controversy around the management of periprosthetic fractures
Explain the rationale behind the use of proximal femoral replacement in proximal femoral fracture fixation
Develop tactics for the management of individual cases

All payments to be made online in CHF. Once payment has been received your place on the course will be confirmed. A further confirmation will be emailed approximately 4 weeks before the start of the course.

The course fee is CHF 805.00. This equates to approximately £650.00 depending on the current exchange rate.

The course fee is inclusive of the course dinner on the evening of 9th November 2017 - Details TBC. Please note that transport will not be provided for participants to and from the course dinner.

If you cannot pay via credit card, you have the possibility to request an invoice. Please note that we will charge you a 10% handling fee in addition to the participant fee. Please contact therefore your Local Event Organizer and indicate the official invoice address of the paying person or entity as well as a respective email address the invoice has to be sent to.

Once in the grounds of the hospital, take a left at the small roundabout, which takes you towards the hospital car park. As you drive down the road, take the first right before you reach the bottom which will bypass their car park. Follow this road (one way), under the MRI building and past the nursery and you will see the Ark car park on the left, and the Ark Centre on the right.

Ark Car Park - The ARK Car Park is situated opposite The ARK which is barrier controlled. If you have not been provided with an entry code, contact ARK reception by pressing the buzzer via the barrier control box at the car park entrance.
